Currently fostered under the auspices of Midwest Border Collie Rescue, Annie is a real sweetie. She's a 7-year old, 34lb., red/white Border Collie. Here's what her foster says about her:
Looking for that perfect companion for long walks? Do you enjoy sitting on the couch at night watching a good movie with a friend? How about going for a ride with someone who will sit quietly and listen to you ramble on about nothing without once complaining? Well I've got that perfect someone for you right here and her name is Annie ! She has been with us for only a month and has really started to enjoy herself. Annie loves to play with all sorts of toys and will jump right in for a good tug-of-war. She likes to play in the water and has a ball when we fill the kiddie pool. A good game of fetch is also something she enjoys.
Going for a 1 to 2 mile walk is a real joy with Annie as she is terrific on leash. Annie is a wonderful companion who really just wants to be with her people. As long as she can spend time with someone she is content. I have spent many hours working in my shop while she sniffs around or lies on the floor near me.
She has yet to meet a single person she didn't like and is always ready to go for a ride and hopefully meet more new friends. Annie has met children as young as 2 and adults walking with canes and has been the perfect little lady with all of them. She is the best friend you could ask for and asks only to be loved.
